About the role
The Queensland Public Trustee (QPT)'s Customer Property Services division provides essential support to Queenslanders in managing property and assets. The division has three main areas of focus: Building Inspections & Compliance, Furniture, Fittings and Effects, and Real Estate Services.
As a Property Officer (Furniture and Effects), you will be responsible for:
- Conducting property inventories and house clear-outs, including the preparation for sale, or the delivery or disposal of estate goods, chattels, and vehicles.
- Ensuring all activities are performed in compliance with QPT's policies and procedures, maintaining the organisation's reputation for professionalism and integrity.
- Performing accurate and timely administrative duties, including record-keeping, to support program delivery.
- Collaborating with the Senior Property Officer and team members to monitor and manage risk and fraud controls effectively.
- Contributing to a safe, equitable, and healthy work environment while delivering high-quality customer service.
