An exciting opportunity exists for an Anaesthetic Technician to join anaesthetic support services as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, to stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health, in accordance with the goals, policies and requirements of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS). Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Be accountable to patients and co-workers for the effective and efficient delivery of quality care by completing required documentation, including incident forms when required.
- Participate in the departmental roster, including continuous shift rotations across a 24/7 period.
- Provide anaesthetic based technical assistance, support and education to the multidisciplinary team.
- Liaise and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in the maintenance, servicing and troubleshooting of anaesthetic equipment and consumables under the direction and supervision of the Anaesthetic Technician Supervisor.
Remuneration value up to $88 363 p.a., comprising salary rates $37.48 - $52.07 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP2) (part time position, 57 hrs p.f.).
