Join our Finance & Business Services team as a Finance Business Manager and play a key role in supporting high-quality, cost-effective service delivery across Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service. In this leadership role, you will provide expert financial and performance management advice, guide strategic business planning, and support Activity Based Funding requirements. You'll work closely with senior leaders to drive operational performance, manage budgeting and forecasting, oversee governance and compliance, and build strong relationships across clinical and corporate teams.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Provide expert financial and performance analysis to support informed decision-making, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and Activity Based Funding requirements.

  • Deliver high-level business planning and governance support, ensuring effective internal controls, risk management and compliance across the service line.

  • Develop strong partnerships with clinical and corporate stakeholders, providing timely financial advice, reports and recommendations to support operational and strategic priorities.

  • Lead and coordinate procurement, contracts, funding submissions and asset management activities, including the preparation of business cases and funding acquittals.

Remuneration value up to $166 569 p.a., comprising salary between $136 035 - $145 990 p.a. (f/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO7) (Two positions available: one permanent full time and one temporary full time for twelve months).
