Be part of supporting Queenslanders within the community! The Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority (QRIDA) is a specialist provider of government financial assistance programs, including loans, grants and rebates. QRIDA are looking for multiple Assessment Officers, working across both our State and National Programs as well as or Regional Service Delivery (which includes processing of applications in the event of a disaster). Key responsibilities include:
- Review of applications to ensure eligibility within guidelines and analysis of relevant evidence provided by applicants.
- Processing of applications for schemes and programs administered by QRIDA.
- Communicate effectively, both internally and externally, particularly as it relates to the analysis of applications and evidence.
- Contribute towards the effective management of the business unit's resources and information in accordance with QRIDA's governance and policy frameworks, including but not limited to risk management, work health and safety, and records management.

Our Role and Purpose
The Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority (QRIDA) is a specialist provider of government financial and advisory support to rural and regional Queensland.
As a statutory body of the Queensland Government, we have been helping primary producers and industry recover from natural disaster, improve sustainability and profitability, make a start in business, and overcome difficult conditions, for more than 30 years.
As the Queensland Government's experts in rural finance, we also administer the State Government's Farm Business Debt Mediation program, the Farm Debt Reconstruction Office, conduct a biennial Rural Debt Survey, undertake research and provide advice to the Minister for Natural Resources and Mines, Minister for Manufacturing, and Minister for Regional and Rural Development.
QRIDA is empowered under the Rural and Regional Adjustment Act 1994 to deliver additional programs and services across a range of industry sectors and to local, state and territory governments throughout Australia and for the Australian Government.
