About us:

The Perioperative Unit is in block seven in the West Wing of Gladstone Hospital. The Gladstone Hospital has two operating rooms and a procedure room. Services include elective and emergency surgery, Day Surgery, Pre-Anaesthetic Clinic, and Central Sterile Service Department (CSSD). The Perioperative Unit provides clinical care through the development and maintenance of relevant and proven patient care standards involving ongoing research in clinical applications.

About the role:

We are seeking motivated Clinical Nurses (CN's) with experience in anaesthetics, instrument and circulating or PACU to work in Theatre. This position works closely with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and includes the opportunity to work as the theatre floor coordinator.

About you:

  • Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate are mandatory for this position.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $53,974 is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $54.44 - $58.30 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
