We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Legal Services System (LSS) Project team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst with strong stakeholder engagement skills to play a key role in supporting the development of the LSS core systems that will replace Legal Aid Queensland's customer relationship management system.

About the role

As senior business analyst, Legal Services System (LSS) Project, you will undertake activities to gather business requirements to support the project.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst with strong stakeholder engagement skills to play a key role in supporting the development of the LSS core systems that will replace Legal Aid Queensland's customer relationship management system.

In this role you will:

  • Provide support to the subject matter experts and Project Director in LSS Project to capture LAQ's current state and future state requirements in preparation for the implementation phase of the LSS Project.
  • Engage with relevant stakeholders from the business areas.
  • Ensure that the future state business requirements meet the operational needs of LAQ and deliver the benefits captured in the benefits realisation plan and are designed in a streamlined and cost-effective way.
  • Apply business analysis skills to identify and document functional and non-functional project requirements and evaluate options against these.
  • Produce high quality business documentation.
  • Apply business analysis skills to support the evaluation of the project during execution and upon completion.
  • Contribute to project-based business analysis skill enhancement across the LSS project team.
  • Facilitate the setting of measurable targets for anticipated benefits.
