About the role
Temporary part time or casual opportunity providing high quality administrative support to the staff of the Crisis Stabilisation Unit and at times the wider Metro North Mental Health, The Prince Charles Hospital (MNMH-TPCH) service. This role will respond to enquiries and provide assistance to staff, consumers, and their families to facilitate effective 24/7 service delivery within the Crisis Stabilisation Facility.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- This position is required to participate in a continuous 24-hour roster across the 7-day week.
- Be an initial point of contact for the Crisis Stabilisation Unit by ensuring all enquiries are dealt with in a professional, courteous, and timely manner and are directed to the relevant area or staff member for assistance.
- Take incoming telephone calls and act as an intermediary between the relevant senior staff and others to ensure queries and issues are referred to the appropriate person within the organisation.
- Responsible for documenting patient admissions and discharges, ensuring relevant tasks are completed in a timely manner, including after hours support for MNMH-TPCH inpatient units.
