About the role
Provide strategic, operational and professional administrative leadership within Critical Care and Clinical Support Services
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Manage and be accountable for all aspects of the performance of the administration staff in line with Queensland Health HR policies and guidelines which include performance and development compliance, mandatory training and budget performance.
- Provide advice to the Executive Director and leadership team in CC&CSS and other stakeholders throughout RBWH on the identification of risks and opportunities, change management and mitigation strategies for administration matters and client focused service delivery.
- Manage the provision of skilled administrative staff within CC&CSS through implementation of values based effective recruitment processes, rosters and leave management systems.
- Provide leadership and support in relation to change, control and governance activities by assessing feasibility of process changes, lead development and review of processes and recommend new approaches to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide leadership and support and manage complex HR matters, including sick leave management, Performance Improvement Plans and disciplinary matters.
