As our Policy Support Officer, you will communicate with external stakeholders about how planning and infrastructure proposals across.
Queensland will affect forestry interests by coordinating information from subject matter experts across DPI Forestry. You will also
support internal stakeholders by coordinating the workflow for a high volume of incoming briefing or reporting requests. We are looking for
candidates with excellent written and verbal communications skills, and who are always looking for ways to improve processes and to learn.

As our Policy Support Officer, you will provide high-level administration and project support to the Forestry business group by:
• allocating incoming executive correspondence requests, and gathering information to support a response to them in an accurate and
timely manner
• providing secretariat support for Forestry governance activities including developing meeting agendas and preparing minutes as required
• managing the entry point for requests relating to planning and infrastructure projects to be assessed for their impact on Forestry's business
• providing high-level executive support, including through the management of relevant workflows
• supporting the effective delivery of Forestry's priorities by liaising with internal and external stakeholders and undertaking other relevant
tasks as required.
