About the Role

  • Provide expert advice, technical expertise and high-level support to internal and external stakeholders regarding data collection, quality, use and auditing for core clinical and non-clinical information management systems.
  • Maintain a sound understanding of relevant standards, technical processes, procedures and business practices in relation to clinical and non-clinical information management systems to ensure that practices within the CHQ are effective and consistent.
  • Undertake the maintenance, management and ongoing statistical reporting to ensure procedural requirements and standards are met. This may include establishing, managing and improving processes for data quality and monitoring.
  • Provide assistance for planned and unplanned system down-times, testing and upgrades to support quality control and data integrity.
  • Resolve day to day operational issues relating to data quality within the core clinical and non-clinical information management systems within CHQ HHS to ensure quality data is recorded and assist with review of work practices by maintaining high professional work standards and seeking ways for ongoing improvement.
  • Undertake regular audits of the Clinical Information Management Systems to ensure staff have appropriately approved access and users no longer requiring access are disabled, and provide feedback from audits and quality activities to the Healthy Hearing Program and training teams to allow for ongoing evaluation and assessment of end user training. Thus ensuring the training continues to meet standards.
  • Undertake basic research and participate in projects, agreements, plans and data collection /analysis as required along with preparing and collating relevant reports.
  • Actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resources management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, work, health and safety, and ethical behaviour.
  • Develop a positive culture within the Child Youth Community Health Services which encourages and recognises high performance, builds leadership capabilities and supports staff to maximise their health and wellbeing.
  • Other duties related to the Healthy Hearing Program  as delegated by line manager
