About the role
This position is based in Brisbane CBD and flexible arrangements can be considered upon application, including working remotely at a Regional QBCC office subject to availability. If working from a regional office, regular travel to the Brisbane office may be required.
Key Outcomes and Accountabilities
In this role you will be responsible for:
- processing licensing matters in accordance with delegation including refusal of licence applications.
- interpreting and applying policy and legislation.
- undertaking research for cases and projects.
- representing the QBCC in promotional and educational activities.
- representing the QBCC in hearings before the tribunal and courts as required.
- participating in planning and change management activities making recommendations for
- gathering industry intelligence to ensure proactive service delivery.
- undertaking general administrative duties and support communication across the QBCC networks.
