The Role
Operating within the Organisational Development team in Human Resources, this role leads the Learning and Development team in designing and delivering initiatives
aligned to our Capability Development Strategy. You will provide advice, analysis, reporting, project management and thought leadership for HR activities, particularly around learning and strategic capability development. Key projects include eLearning design, departmental induction, mentoring, authorised officer training and other workforce initiatives.

Key Accountabilities
-Provide high-level advice and support to senior management on learning and organisational development initiatives.
-Lead a team of HR practitioners to deliver quality organisational development projects.
-Prepare accurate reports, business cases, submissions and briefings.
-Represent the department at interagency meetings and forums.
-Build strong networks with internal and external stakeholders.
-Manage processes to plan, resource and deliver key projects.
-Develop and implement HR policies and programs to meet capability outcomes.
-Contribute to leadership forums, culture development and workforce strategy.

About You
-Skilled in contemporary learning and development and/or organisational development.
-Strong leadership and emotional intelligence to lead a small team.
-Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
-Strategic thinker with ability to deliver innovative workforce initiatives.
-No mandatory qualifications required; relevant experience highly regarded.
