What you'll do

Co-ordinate and oversee the operation of a Warehouse and Distribution facility to provide effective and efficient material supply support to clients by receiving, storing, maintaining and issuing an appropriate range of inventory within a cost effective and quality framework.

Promote the Warehouse and Distribution facility by Liaising with clinical, medical and administrative staff and clients to achieve client focused quality outcomes.

Manage staff within contemporary human resource management principles to achieve quality outcomes using best practice and quality improvement principles, including budget integrity.

About you

We are searching for someone who: 

  • While not mandatory, a relevant qualification (certificate in transport, distribution, warehousing, storage and/or purchasing is preferred) would be well regarded.
  • Licence for high reach, counter balance forklift and related equipment is relevant for this role or ability to acquire within four weeks of commencement.
  • Manage staff effectively by providing clear direction of actions and motivating the achievement of positive outcomes.
  • Manages resources within designated controls to ensure highest levels of service delivery and gains efficiencies through sound practices.
  • Inspires staff and colleagues to participate in solutions that support organisational objectives and removes perceived obstacles to positive change.
  • Evaluates and assesses the effectiveness and efficiency of the operational environment through proactively reviewing and implementing processes and managing resources to support major objectives.
