The Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (MHAODS) is responsible for delivering mental health, alcohol and other drugs services throughout our health service, and supporting other mental health and alcohol and other drugs services in the surrounding Hospital and Health Services of Cape York and the Torres Strait.
Our primary objective is to ensure access to a comprehensive range of treatment and support services, clinical treatment, rehabilitation, disability support, as well as early intervention, and mental health prevention and promotion. MHAODS is designed and delivered with the consumer, carers, family, and local communities at its core.
About you:
In your new role you will:
- Knowledge of, or ability to quickly acquire and apply knowledge of, relevant applications, e.g., Outlook and CIMHA.
- Working collaboratively and in partnership with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, health service providers and other health professionals.
- Actively participate in professional, inpatient and community networks and associations to promote and maintain knowledge, skills, and relationships.
