About the role
Deliver high-level occupational therapy services and leadership within the Older Persons Mental Health Team, supporting consumers with complex mental health needs through evidence-based, recovery-focused care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced occupational therapy assessments and interventions for older adults with severe mental health disorders, ensuring culturally appropriate, consumer-focused outcomes.
- Apply independent clinical judgment to manage complex caseloads and adapt practices using evidence-based approaches.
- Offer clinical leadership, supervision, and education to junior clinicians and students to maintain professional standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to develop integrated care plans and advocate for consumer needs.
