About us:
The Medical Workforce Support Unit (MWSU) provides advice and assistance to the Executive Director of Medical Services (EDMS) and Directors of Medical Services (DMSs) in relation to medical officer employment for Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS). The MWSU has a Hospital and Health Service wide operational responsibility for medical workforce recruitment and onboarding with the focus on designing, delivering and supporting a sustainable medical workforce model for CQ Health.
About the role:
The role provides of high-quality administrative support and coordination to the:
- Sourcing and engagement of locum medical officers across Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service.
- Recruitment, engagement and retention of doctors in training across Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service.
- Participate and contribute within the team-based environment to deliver high quality medical workforce support services to Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service.
About you:
- Assist with the recruitment, selection and appointment processes for all medical officer positions (locum and payroll) in consultation with the Medical Workforce Officers, Team Leaders and Manager, MWSU.
- Screen calls and re-direct where appropriate, answer routine queries, prioritise calls.
- Maintain an electronic filing system for all compliance documents relevant to initial recruitment process and ongoing accurate personnel records for medical staff.
- Assistance with commencement and separation paperwork for junior doctors.
- Coordinate the accommodation and accesses for prevocational medical officers.
What we offer:
Total monthly remuneration value of up to $8,138 is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $38.81 - $43.16 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
