Your new role:
In this dynamic position, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centred mental health assessment and intervention within a 24-hour Emergency Department service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, therapeutic interventions, patient education and discharge planning within an interprofessional team.
- Contribute to clinical education through supervision of students, allied health assistants and participation in team-based learning.
- Participate in quality improvement, service development and research activities under the guidance of senior clinicians.
- Work within a continuous shift roster to support 24/7 emergency mental health service delivery.

- Ability to deliver evidence-based mental health assessments and interventions in an emergency context.
- Strong communication skills with the capacity to work effectively within an interprofessional team.

- Capacity to support the education and development of students and junior staff.
