Your new role:
As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a key leadership role in delivering advanced, recovery-focused mental health care to consumers presenting to the Emergency Department with acute mental health concerns.
- Provide advanced clinical assessment, planning and coordination of person-centred care for consumers in acute mental health crisis.
- Work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team, providing expert clinical leadership and supporting professional practice, education and research.
- Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, incident management and adherence to service protocols and standards.
- Support team coordination, mentoring and portfolio responsibilities across clinical, education, management and research domains.
About you:
You are an experienced mental health nurse who demonstrates advanced clinical skills, sound professional judgement and a commitment to high-quality, person-centred care.
- Proven ability to deliver advanced mental health nursing care, including complex assessment, risk management and evidence-based interventions.
- Strong leadership capability with experience in mentoring colleagues, contributing to education, and supporting positive team culture.
- Demonstrated understanding of clinical governance, quality frameworks, and continuous service improvement.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to the values of integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, engagement and excellence.
