Your Contribution
• Contribute to a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of First Nations people and actively engage through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations people.
• Assist with the development and implementation of various training and development initiatives aimed at building skills and capability of Land and Sea Rangers.
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with key Departmental and governmental bodies and individuals with expertise in the Indigenous ranger sector and training sector.
• Assist in the preparation and/or coordination of briefing notes, program plans, submissions, reports and correspondence associated with the program and projects.
• Foster a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of First Nations people and actively engage through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations people.
• Promote a safe, respectful and inclusive workplace that is free from bullying, discrimination and harassment.

About you
• Supports strategic direction and demonstrates an ability to develop options to resolve complex issues.
• Achieves results, including an ability to effectively manage projects and achieve outcomes on time and within budget.
• Engages in and maintains productive working relationships with First Nations people and other Government agencies.
• Communicates confidently and demonstrates the ability to effectively communicate program initiatives with First Nations people.
• Demonstrates a sound knowledge of policies and procedures of community based ranger programs as it applies to the work of the Department.
• Demonstrate how you can support our commitment to workplace safety, equity, diversity, respect and inclusion.
