About us:
Gladstone Hospital provides a range of services to Gladstone and the Banana region. Our Destination 2030: Great Care for Central Queenslanders strategy will see Gladstone Hospital developed as a centre for emergency care, medical inpatient and day surgery excellence. This will optimise outreach services to deliver care closer to home in the Gladstone and Banana rural communities. In October 2020 Queensland Health acquired the co-located private hospital to expand the service footprint of the Gladstone campus.
About the role:
The Administration Coordinator coordinates and appropriately resources Gladstone Hospital Administration Officers (AO3), planned and emergent leave requests, roster management and development and undertakes professional development across the facility.
About you:
- Maintain an effective communication network with all administrative officers and their respective line managers through meetings and participation in departmental interdisciplinary meetings.
- Undertake project work relevant to Administrative Support Services, as determined by the Director of Corporate and Support Services.
- Coordinate and manage recruitment processes for direct report staff pools in alignment with Queensland Health policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain and manage the administration rosters across all units to support the placement, backfill and application of rostering rules for administration streams including the newly released IWFM payroll system.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $114,177 is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $45.81 - $50.46 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
