Procurement Administration Officer

The primary purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the Procurement team and their internal clients. To provide additional support this role will also be cross-trained on administrative functions within other parts of the FPOS unit.The Commission is a complex organisation, entrusted with significant responsibilities and investigative powers to enable us to deal with some of the most serious threats to the welfare and wellbeing of the community.

About you
The ideal applicant will demonstrate capability in the following requirements:
• Demonstrate experience in providing administrative support services. Experience in or exposure to the public sector, law enforcement or highly regulated environments is considered advantageous.
• Knowledge of, and experience using standard corporate applications including but not limited to the Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Word, Excel and Access) and electronic document and records management system (previous experience with Content Manager is considered advantageous).
• Demonstrate well-developed written and oral communications skills that support the ability to liaise and consult effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrate the ability to set priorities, set realistic goals, meet deadlines and work with a minimum of supervision in a team environment.
• Demonstrate experience in maintaining confidentiality, exercising discretion where required and using sound judgement.
