About the role
This role provides psychology-specific mental health clinical services to consumers with complex mental illnesses who are residing in a community based mental health residential facility. Clinical services include assessment, recommendations, case management, collaborative care planning, therapeutic interventions and promotion of recovery within the multidisciplinary team, with the aim of supporting consumers to learn or re-learn living skills needed to live independently. Deliver high level psychology-specific services and leadership as a member of a multidisciplinary team to achieve better health outcomes for consumers in a residential rehabilitation setting.

Mandatory Requirements:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- General Registration as a Psychologist, or eligibility for General Registration, with the Psychology Board of Australia (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency – AHPRA) is mandatory.
