Tannum Sands State High School is a co-educational secondary school located just minutes from the beach and 25 km from Gladstone. What we are looking for
The successful candidate is required to be a skilled instructional leader with strong interpersonal skills, organisational skills and curriculum expertise in the Arts. Leading a dynamic team of teachers, you will work collaboratively to design and deliver proactive, early intervention strategies that build resilience, support emotional wellbeing, and respond to the diverse needs of our students in Junior Secondary.
Your Responsibilities
As the Head of Department - The Arts / Junior Secondary, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the school department to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
