Role details
TheOrthopaedics and Rehabilitation Ward at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Clinical Nurse to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity
The Clinical Nurse (CN) provides nursing services within the health service settings; and is responsible for a portfolio with a focus on clinical care/leadership, management, education and/or research. The activities are predominantly clinical in nature, but also provide support to a Nurse Grade 7 or above in management activities. The CN provides advanced level clinical skills to ensure patient-focused evidence-based nursing care, plans and coordinates the clinical management of patient/client care and provides leadership and support to other nursing staff.
About the Team
F0 is a 28 bed Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Ward. It consists of 18 Orthopaedic beds, catering to Orthopaedic Elective and Trauma patients and 10 Rehabilitation beds.
