Join QEII Jubilee Hospital’s Emergency Department as a Clinical Nurse Consultant (NG7) in a permanent part-time role (64 hours per fortnight). You’ll provide advanced emergency nursing leadership, drive data quality and performance improvement, and support safe, efficient patient flow in a busy, high-acuity Emergency Department.

Your new role:
In this senior nursing role, you will provide advanced clinical leadership, consultancy and quality improvement support within the Emergency Department. You'll work closely with nursing, medical and multidisciplinary leaders to improve data integrity, patient flow, business practice and emergency performance indicators, while maintaining excellence in clinical care.
You will:
- Provide advanced emergency nursing leadership and clinical consultancy
- Drive data quality, performance monitoring and business practice improvement
- Analyse and interpret ED data to support flow, LOS and quality outcomes
- Lead audits, reporting and compliance against key emergency KPIs
- Support implementation of evidence-based practice and clinical governance
About you:
You are an experienced emergency nurse with advanced clinical expertise, strong analytical capability and a passion for quality improvement. You thrive in complex environments and lead confidently through collaboration, influence and evidence-based practice.
You will bring:
- Advanced emergency nursing knowledge and contemporary clinical expertise
- Demonstrated experience in quality improvement, data analysis and performance monitoring
- High-level communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to lead change and influence practice across multidisciplinary teams
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and clinical decision-making skills

The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII) is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour Emergency Department. We provide a range of services, including surgery, cardiology, endoscopy, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, geriatric, respiratory and emergency medicine.
We're making our hospital bigger and better to make it easier for our growing community to get the health care they need. We'll have more beds, medical wards and expanded intensive care and emergency services planned to be opened by 2027.
