About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team and ensure the school remains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all. Reporting to the Principal or a nominated delegate, you will play a key role in maintaining the school's facilities to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting classrooms, offices, and communal areas.
  • Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, kitchens, and other high-use facilities.
  • Emptying bins, disposing of waste, and replenishing supplies such as soap and hand towels.
  • Maintaining and storing cleaning equipment correctly and safely.
  • Reporting maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.

This role would suit someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

About You

The following traits would be beneficial:

  • Previous cleaning experience, particularly in a school or similar environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to follow health and safety guidelines, including the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive approach to tasks.
