About us

At the Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC), our primary responsibility is to provide support and guidance to the Premier and Cabinet to effectively deliver on the government's priorities, commitments, decisions, and objectives for the betterment of the community. The Engagement and Partnerships team leads the delivery of engagement opportunities for the Premier and the Cabinet through events, awards and programs that facilitate community engagement and promote Queensland Government priorities and key initiatives. Engagement and Partnerships also provides leadership and strategic advice on whole-of-government sponsorship policy and event delivery to drive economic and community benefit.

Your opportunity:

The Senior Events and Programs Officer will design, plan, deliver and evaluate engaging events and programs for both the Department of the Premier and Cabinet and the Queensland Government. You will be able to coordinate multiple high-level events and programs simultaneously, identify and mitigate risks, solve problems quickly and negotiate positive outcomes with ease. You will create exceptional communities and deliver events and programs in a best practice format. You will understand the lifecycle of events and programs, thrive in dynamic settings and bring creativity, precision and passion to everything you deliver.
