Senior Advisor - Office of the Executive Director

The Senior Advisor reporting to the Manager, Office of the Executive Director, works with limited supervision as part of the Office of the Executive Director (OED) in the Specialist and Regulatory Services (SRS) directorate.
The Senior Advisor provides support to the Executive Director, SRS and the SRS leadership team to ensure consistency of administrative and corporate processes across the SRS Directorate. The role will also undertake project work as required in accordance with the key responsibilities outlined below.

Key responsibilities include:
- Manage the provision of high-level administration, HR, fleet, procurement and financial support services, systems and procedures, and deliver related advice to senior officers in SRS, including the Executive Director SRS, and SRS Directors ers.
- Liaise with and provide support to the Executive Director and the SRS leadership team by managing the timely workflow of information, reporting, correspondence etc.
- Coordinate the standardization of administrative processes across the SHSS workgroup to ensure consistency.
- Liaise with and provide support to the Executive Director and the SRS leadership team by managing the timely workflow of information, reporting, correspondence etc.
- Coordinate HR business processes and the maintenance of the establishment across SRS.
- In conjunction with Executive Director SRS, ensure high quality administration of meetings including setting of Agendas, minute taking, distribution and follow up of action items.
- Ensure the compliance with all public sector legislation, policies and procedures.
- Responsible for stakeholder management and working relationships of business units interacting with the OED SRS.
- Actively participate as an effective team member in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, WHS and ethical behaviour.
