The AODS and Specialist Teams at the Mackay Community Health Centre is seeking applications for a Dietitian to join their team on a temporary basis.
One position is available across two temporary contract periods with variable hours:
- Temporary Part Time (30.4 hours p.f.) from 19 January 2026 to 6 April 2026
- Temporary Full Time (76 hours p.f.) from 7 April 2026 to 11 April 2027

Your opportunity
- To deliver nutrition and dietetics services to mental health consumers within Mackay Hospital and Health Service. This position works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the provision of quality nutrition and dietetic services to consumers.
- The Dietitian reports operationally to Specialist Team Leader and professionally to the Director of Nutrition & Dietetics
About the Team
The Mental Health and AOD Service is comprised of eight clinical teams across the MHHS. The Mental Health Service is responsible for the provision of comprehensive, specialised mental health assessment and treatment services across the age-spectrum for people with severe and complex mental health problems. Our services aim to be consumer focused and recovery oriented and are provided in a variety of settings including community, an acute inpatient unit, hospitals and emergency departments
