About us:
Rockhampton Hospital is a 305 bed facility and is the main referral hospital for Central Queensland, now providing integrated cancer care services in Central Queensland in the newly established building boasting state of the art medical equipment.
About the role:
Respond to enquiries and provide information and assistance to staff, patients and visitors to facilitate effective service delivery within a hospital setting. Contribute to patient flow by performing a support role to nursing and medical staff, coordinating all patient movements.
About you:
- Respond to general reception enquiries in the Pre Admission Clinic by answering all incoming telephone calls and ensuring accurate transfer of messages and information to support patients and staff.
- As the primary contact on the unit, assist and direct visitors by accessing patient information and providing an effective and courteous front counter service.
- Consult with patients to obtain correct details for completion of appointments scheduled and record information accurately into the hospital information systems.
- Assist with patient scheduled appointments and surgery preparedness through timely coordination of all required paperwork and updating of hospital information systems.
What we offer:
Total monthly remuneration value of up to $1,627 is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $38.81 - $43.16 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
