An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Clinical Nurse or Psychologist or Occupational Therapist or Social Worker - Senior (Aged Care Assessor Holiday Reliever) to join the Aged Care Assessment Team, Integrated Care Services at the Bundaberg, Hervey Bay or Maryborough Hospitals within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 225,000 residents including several rural communities.

Your opportunity:

  • The Aged Care Assessor within the Wide Bay Aged Care Assessment Team is required to work within a multidisciplinary team and provide clinical assessment services to clients through the use of high level clinical skills, knowledge and experience and highly effective communication. The position works within an integrated hospital/community Aged Care Service across the Service Area in order to assess clients to access appropriate support services and/or residential care.
  • This position reports professionally to the relevant Professional Lead and operationally to the Aged Care Assessment Team Leader, Integrated Care, Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $157,360 p.a., comprising salary between $128,169 - $137,918 p.a. (HP4) or competitive remuneration package value up to $135,856 p.a., comprising salary between $111,198 - $119,071 p.a. (Nurse Grade 6 (1)), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6 (1)/HP4) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f.)
