Your opportunity: 

• The Geriatrician will provide specialist medical care for older adults within the Fraser Coast Integrated Care Service.
• The role focuses on delivering comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of complex geriatric conditions, with a strong emphasis on multidisciplinary collaboration to optimise patient outcomes across acute, subacute, and community care settings.

Opportunity for Private Practice: 

The successful candidate may have the opportunity to establish private practice outside of their WBHHS appointment with local private hospitals.  The successful candidate may receive assistance and concessions with:

• Use of the local private hospital's sessional rooms to allow establishment of practice and referral pathways
• Assistance with credentialling and administrative support to commence private practice
• Introduction to local GP's, physicians and surgeons to facilitate referral pathways.
