The Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team as an Advisor with the Ministerial and Executive Services team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, values precision in written communication, and enjoys working collaboratively across diverse stakeholder groups.
You will build strong working relationships across QBCC, the Minister's Office, and the Department of Housing and Public Works.
- Prepare high‑quality Ministerial briefs, executive correspondence, parliamentary documents, and reports.
- Manage and coordinate Ministerial correspondence tasks and administrative workflows.
- Draft clear, concise, accurate content that meets strict standards and deadlines.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.
- Work collaboratively within a high‑performing team and deliver exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.
You will bring:
- Strong writing skills and experience preparing high‑level briefs, reports, and submissions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer‑focused mindset.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality work under pressure.
- A collaborative approach and commitment to positive team outcomes.
