What you'll do
- Lead and mentor senior developers in designing, developing, implementing and maintaining system enhancements and modifications in the delivery of the Queensland Health's Enterprise Corporate Applications.
- Analyse business requirements and system specifications and provide specialised expertise to staff and management to ensure specifications are aligned to business requirements.
- Analyse and solve complex system problems to provide innovative solutions to business requirements in the delivery of support to Queensland Health and completion of project work in required timeframes.
- Complete system design, specification, development, unit testing and maintenance and associated documentation of the applications and systems managed by Corporate Enterprise Solutions in strict compliance with Corporate Enterprise Solutions development standards.
- Provide high-level advice on the development of information management best practice and application to Queensland Health Corporate Enterprise Applications.
- Liaise, consult and negotiate effectively with team members, other project teams, stakeholders and client groups to develop and maintain effective working relationships and the integrity of the overall integrated solution.
About you
We are searching for someone with:
- Demonstrated extensive experience in business application development technologies, particularly application development technologies and trends in relation to the solution responsibility of the team and the ability to apply this knowledge in a complex IT environment.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in and exposure to major project management activities including a thorough knowledge of project management methodologies, principles and practices.
- High level of written and verbal communication skills and the ability to consult and negotiate with a diverse range of stakeholders on complex business requirements and transfer knowledge to team members and clients.
- Ability to assist management and team leaders in supervising and assisting other team members to deliver effective services to clients within agreed service level timelines.
