QBuild is a commercialised business unit of the Queensland Government. It has been Queensland Government's builder for over 160 years, playing an important role in communities across the state by building and maintaining government-owned assets such as schools, social housing, police stations and correctional and health facilities.
About the role
You will play a pivotal role in supporting QBuild's ambition to strengthen Queensland's building and construction industry by providing high level of customer support to QBuild's maintenance Response Centre.
Duties and skills involved:
- Provide efficient and high standards of customer service to customers and stakeholders.
- Work within a fast-paced environment with KPI's and mechanisms to measure and monitor performance.
- Connect and maintain relationships with industry, local suppliers and internal and external stakeholders ensuring timely and effective delivery of services.
- Demonstrate high level interpersonal skills including negotiation, minimisation of aggression and dispute resolution as appropriate.
- Contribute to and actively participate in internal innovation activities, be a positive contributor to a great team and culture and actively participate in and contribute to internal innovative activities.
- Ensure high standards and accuracy when compiling documents and reports or updating records and information systems.
- Effectively undertake general administration functions as required.
