An exciting opportunity exists for a Clinical Nurse to join our Vascular Access Surveillance and Education (VASE) team. VASE offers an HHS-wide service that facilitates clinical, educational and surveillance aspects of vascular access device utilisation across all professional disciplines.

Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Education, training and support for all levels of healthcare professionals whose scope of practice includes insertion of, and management of vascular access devices.
- The provision of nursing care that meets the ANMC Competency Standards and other professional practice standards relevant to the position.
- Assume individual accountability for actions within the position.
- Maintain advanced knowledge and skills in the speciality area of vascular access device management, peripheral vascular access device insertion and the prevention of infection.
Remuneration value up to $67 928 p.a, comprising salary rates $56.08 - $60.05 p.h., (part time, 38 hrs p.f.), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (NG 6 (1)) (part time positions available, one 38 hrs p.f. and one 30.4 hrs p.f.). Applications will remain current for 12 months / the duration of the vacancy.
