The Mental Health Service Group at Charters Towers Health Service provides specialist care for children and young people experiencing complex mental health challenges. Our multidisciplinary team delivers evidence-based interventions, crisis support, and case management to improve outcomes for individuals and families in the region.

Competitive salary and benefits
- Salary between $4262.20 – $4564.00 per fortnight (Nurse Grade 6, Band 1) or $3030.00 – $4453.50 per fortnight (HP3).
- 4 to 6 weeks p.a. recreational leave with 14-17.5% loading.
- Generous employer contribution to superannuation of 12.75%.

About your opportunity
As a Clinical Nurse or Mental Health Clinician, you will provide specialist assessment, treatment, and case management for children and young people with complex mental health needs. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and contribute to service development initiatives.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification and current registration with AHPRA or eligibility for AASW membership.
- Experience in mental health assessment, treatment planning, and case management.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Current Class C driver licence.
- Evidence of vaccination against VPDs as per Queensland Health policy.
- A probationary period may apply.
