The philosophy of the Townsville Community Care and Acquired Brain Injury Unit is to provide effective mental health care in a safe environment, balancing society's expectations of safety with consumers' rights to the least‑restrictive treatment options. The unit accommodates 34 consumers and offers a safe, structured environment to support rehabilitation.

Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $73,371 to $77,869 p.a. (f/t) or $37.00 - $39.27 p.h. (p/t) (Nurse Grade 3)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- On-call and shift allowances (where applicable)

About your opportunity
The Enrolled Nurse is responsible for providing direct nursing care utilising clinical skills under the delegation and supervision of a Registered Nurse utilising education and support, encompassing purposeful evidenced based practice interventions to consumers, recognising safety of all.
Requirements:
- Diploma of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position and registration with AHPRA.
- Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster, which will include participation in an on-call roster.
