West Moreton Health provides health and wellbeing services to more than 320,000 people across the Somerset, Scenic Rim, Lockyer Valley and Ipswich communities. Its borders stretch to the north of Esk, west of Gatton, east of Ipswich and Springfield, and south of Boonah.
We provide preventative and primary healthcare services, ambulatory services, acute care, sub-acute care, and oral health, mental health and other specialised services, including prison and youth detention health services, and alcohol and other drugs services to the region. West Moreton is the fastest-growing region in Queensland in relative terms, with a population that is expected to almost double by 2046.
The role
The Executive Director Clinical Innovation and Digital Services provides a single point of accountability for the oversight and delivery of innovation, performance reporting and monitoring, digital transformation, digital infrastructure and major programs of work across West Moreton Health (WMH). This position is operationally responsible for the Health Service Improvement and Planning unit, Multicultural Health, First Nations Strategy WMH Digital Services, and the Public Health Unit. The position additionally has responsibility for the Performance and Reporting function for the hospital and health service.

As an experienced senior leader in healthcare with a commitment to the delivery of safe patient-centred services, you will bring:
- Demonstrated success leading clinical or operational services within a large, complex healthcare system.
- Cultivates innovation, is action oriented, drives results and supports WMH's vision and purpose to exceed expectations of our patients and stakeholders.
- Demonstrates interpersonal savvy, manages conflict appropriately, communicates effectively and balances the needs of all stakeholders with utmost respect to all people at all times.
- Resolute, compelling and inspired leadership skills and a demonstrated achievement in leading and managing large, diverse and complex programs of work and teams.
- Be courageous in the management of risk, critical analysis and the application of quality improvement and innovative programs across WMH.
- Nurture a culture that remains agile and responsive, be poised in challenging times and seize opportunities with vigour.
- Expert knowledge of health service management and the ability to strategically apply this knowledge through the use of experience, wisdom and superior judgment to develop innovative patient centred solutions to achieve WMH's vision.
- Persuasively influence outcomes, negotiate, drive inclusion, build strategic and mutually beneficial relationships that support the successful delivery of an innovation and transformation culture within the Clinical Innovation and Digital Services team and broader WMH.
- Ability to communicate the vision of WMH with a sense of clear purpose, supporting and strategically guiding teams to achieve outstanding results.
