About your role
As a Digital Technology Support Officer, you will coordinate and deliver digital technology support services across Metro South Hospital and Health Service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Installing, maintaining and supporting Digital Hospital devices and local ICT equipment, including workstations on wheels, barcode scanners, printers and downtime viewers
- Providing proactive, on-the-floor technical support across Metro South sites to ensure digital systems are available for clinical use
- Assessing, analysing and supporting complex IM/ICT changes, including documentation, risk evaluation and implementation planning
- Installing, configuring, testing and optimising end-user computing environments in line with approved capacity and standards
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues using a customer-focused, solutions-driven approach
About you
You are a technically capable and service-oriented digital support professional who enjoys working in complex healthcare environments.
You will bring:
- Strong experience supporting Digital Hospital devices, desktop technologies and end-user computing environments
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, Active Directory, Office 365, mobility devices and systems administration tools
- Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse issues, understand system impacts and deliver practical solutions
- A collaborative approach, working effectively with digital health, biomedical and eHealth Queensland teams
- At least 5 years experience in the delivery of Digital Health services in the healthcare industry (highly regarded)
