In the role of Project Manager Intelligent Transport Systems & Electrical (ITS&E), you will project manage the delivery of multiple electrical infrastructure projects through the provision of technical expertise, project management and administration of contracts to the design, construction and maintenance processes associated with project delivery.
You will be responsible for the effective coordination of key operational activities and resources to support the successful delivery of multiple projects. This includes endto- end project management of ITS and Electrical infrastructure initiatives, ensuring each project progresses through its lifecycle efficiently and achieves its intended outcomes.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Use technical knowledge, expertise and leadership to coordinate all relevant activities ensuring successful delivery of projects.
• Manage and coordinate statewide project teams, materials, resources and suppliers.
• Liaise with project teams to resolve complex issues to improve overall project performance.
• Prepare and deliver submissions and reports relating to project issues and identify appropriate mitigation strategies.
Mandatory qualifications and conditions
• Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
• Applicants must possess a current, valid Queensland "C" class driver's licence or equivalent.
• You may be required to travel to other locations within Queensland to undertake activities for varying periods of time. You will be entitled to expenses and allowances for such travel.
Desirable requirements
• Electrical Mechanic with Electrical Work Licence; or
• Bachelor of Engineering Degree in an electrical discipline from a recognised tertiary institute, or an equivalent Electrical Engineering qualification that is acceptable for membership with Engineers Australia.
• A Diploma in Project Management or suitable demonstrated experience.
