We're excited to welcome a Clinical Nurse to the Rapid Access Chest Pain Clinic. The Rapid Access Chest Pain (RACC) Clinical Nurse (CN) will work within The Rapid Access Chest Pain team to collaborate with emergency departments across the Sunshine Coast Hospital Health Health Service.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Outpatient management of persons with chest pain, including assessment and education, in addition to care coordination in consultation with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Sunshine Coast University Hospital and Health Service Values.
  • Actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, work health and safety and ethical behaviour.
  • Follow defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces and manage all information in accordance with legislation, standards, policies, and procedures.

Remuneration based pro rata on equivalent full time value up to $135 857p.a., comprising salary rates: $56.08 - $60.05 p.h. employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6 (1)) (Fixed term temporary part position, 48 hrs p.f. for 12 months).
