An exciting opportunity exists for a Dental Prosthetist to join our Oral Health team.
This position will contribute to the provision of a high standard of oral health care for eligible clients of the Oral Health Service, Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) by working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver dental prosthetic and dental technology services.
Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Deliver high quality clinical dental prosthetic services for eligible clients within the scope of clinical practice of a dental prosthetist under the current Legislative Acts and Code of Practice in accordance with registration requirements of the Dental Board of Australia.
- Provide support to the dental team by fabricating, repairing, and modifying removeable dental prostheses and appliances.
- Provide clear direction to support staff and practical support for other oral heath staff in their responsibility to provide an effective and efficient oral health service.
- Provide dental technical services where required and contribute to the effectiveness and efficiency of the dental laboratory by working as part of the dental laboratory team under the guidance of the Dental Technician Advanced.
Remuneration based pro rata on equivalent full time value up to $132 567 p.a., comprising salary rates: $39.86 - $58.59 p.h. employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3) (Fixed term temporary part position, 45.6 hrs p.f. for 3 months).
