As District Director, you will provide strategic leadership, expert guidance and strong operational oversight across a significant road network and major infrastructure investment program, including contributions to statewide initiatives such as the Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program (QTRIP) and the Bruce Highway Targeted Safety Program.
In this pivotal role you will:
Lead, plan and deliver complex transport and road infrastructure projects and programs.
Represent TMR at a senior level, providing authoritative advice to the Minister, Regional Director and executive leadership.
Build trusted and collaborative relationships with community, industry, First Nations stakeholders, government partners, and delivery teams.
Drive excellence in safety, performance, governance, design, construction, and maintenance activities.
Inspire, develop and lead a multidisciplinary workforce committed to delivering outcomes for Queenslanders.
We are seeking applicants who bring:
Extensive experience delivering large‑scale, complex infrastructure programs across multiple locations.
Proven success leading high‑performing teams and fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusion and accountability.
Strong capability in stakeholder engagement, contract management and program governance.
A deep understanding of road network operations, planning, design and construction.
