We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $5233.50 to $5682.10 p.f. (Nurse Grade 7)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity
The Nurse Unit Manager plays a pivotal leadership role within the Ayr nursing team, providing professional guidance, clinical supervision, and mentoring to ensure the delivery of safe, evidence-based, and person- centred care.
As both a strategic and operational leader, the NUM is accountable for nursing resources, workforce management, education and research initiatives that underpin best practice.
By fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation, the NUM supports staff development and drives quality improvement, ensuring that the unit consistently achieves high standards of patient outcomes and service excellence.
About your new employer
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
- Highly Desirable: Possession of a relevant postgraduate qualification in an appropriate field is highly desirable. Such experience may be discipline specific or have a service area focus.
- Appointees may be required to participate in an on-call
- This position requires the applicant to possess an appropriate license to operate a Class C (car) motor vehicle.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
