We are seeking an outstanding Deputy Principal who is values-driven, future focused educational leader committed to high quality learning outcomes for all students at Gaven State School. Working closely with the Principal, the successful applicant will help lead and implement a
shared vision, uphold high standards of teaching, learning and wellbeing, embed socially just and ethical practices across the school community.
This is a temporary full-time position commencing 20 April 2026 until 26 June 20265, unless otherwise determined. This is an

About the Role:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Support the Principal in leading a shared, future-focused vision that delivers high-quality learning outcomes for all students, and deputise when required.
- Uphold the deputy principalship as an ethical, values-based role that embeds socially just practices in everyday school life.
- Set and maintain high standards for student achievement, staff performance, and professional conduct.
- Build strong partnerships with parents, community groups, government agencies, industry and business.
- Manage resources strategically, informed by relevant legislation and policy, while engaging in ongoing professional learning.
