The Occupational Therapy Clinical Education Support Officer (CESO) provides leadership and support at a local level to Occupational Therapy Clinical Educators, pre-entry students and new graduates. The position also works within the state-wide Occupational Therapy Clinical Education Program (OTCEP) to drive innovation in Occupational Therapy clinical education.

About this role
This role is the reference point of members of all West Moreton (WM) Occupational Therapy (OT) services for clinical education and new graduate support. This position works across all WM OT CESO works across all clinical domains and services including Ipswich Hospital; Community and Rural services; Paediatrics and Mental Health - Community and Acute Services and Forensic and Secure Services.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- High level of knowledge and skills in Occupational Therapy services within one or more areas of expertise.
- Ability to communicate effectively within a team environment to influence a clinical or service outcome.
- Ability to independently manage clinical and managerial workload.
- Ability to monitor and report clinical work practices and outcomes that supports continuous local service improvement initiatives.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association within Australia. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
