About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to be responsible for providing, developing and maintaining an efficient, effective, ethical and confidential administrative and secretarial support service to the Director of Nursing and other staff within the Clinical Governance team. This position operates with a high degree of independence in performing the duties of the position while maintaining open channels of communication between all staff within the department and external teams.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide high quality secretarial/ administrative support to the Director of Nursing and other staff within the team to ensure priority tasks are completed and deadlines are met.
- Provide business support to the Clinical Governance unit, including coordination of routine HR processes.
- Coordinate and manage the workload priorities of the Director of Nursing through diary, calendar and correspondence management, including appropriate tracking and deadline monitoring systems.
- Provision of high-level secretarial support and coordination of meetings by preparing and distributing confidential agendas, minutes and action registers, follow up on outcomes and complete designated action items arising from meetings in accordance with Terms of Reference.
