Your new role:

Reporting to the Medical Workforce Unit, the Medical Workforce Allocations Officer plays a key role in planning, coordinating and maintaining junior medical staff allocations to ensure service delivery, training requirements and legislative obligations are met.

  • Coordinate and prepare term allocations, rosters and placements for Resident Medical Officers in consultation with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide high-quality advice and support to junior medical staff regarding allocations, leave, training requirements and workforce matters

About you:

You are a proactive and organised professional who thrives in a fast-paced, stakeholder-focused environment and brings a strong service mindset to workforce coordination and administration.

  • Demonstrated communication, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with medical staff, managers and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with experience interpreting workforce, payroll or rostering data to support informed decision-making
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet tight deadlines and maintain attention to detail
