About the role

The Prince Charles Hospital (TPCH) is seeking an experienced Paediatric Radiologist to lead and grow our Paediatric Imaging Service. With TPCH expanding toward Level 5 clinical service capability, this is a rare opportunity to take a key leadership role in shaping a rapidly developing paediatric facility.

TPCH currently delivers paediatric emergency and inpatient services, with significant growth planned, including:

  • 10-bed Paediatric Emergency Department & 56 inpatient beds
  • Two paediatric operating theatres (elective and emergency)
  • Expanded outpatient services

As the Paediatric Radiologist, you will:

  • Work closely with the Director of Medical Imaging in leading current paediatric imaging services.
  • Play a pivotal role in planning and implementing expanded Paediatric Imaging Services aligned with the hospital's growth trajectory.
  • Provide a full range of high‑quality diagnostic imaging services, sharing responsibility for clinical quality, cost‑effective service delivery, and service development.

The TPCH Medical Imaging Program offers a comprehensive suite of modalities, including digital radiography, ultrasound, MRI, CT angiography and nuclear medicine, performing over 100,000 examinations annually within a fully integrated PACS and QRIS environment. Paediatric imaging volumes continue to grow in line with expanded paediatric emergency and inpatient care.

You will join a large, multidisciplinary imaging team comprising radiologists, radiographers, nuclear medicine technologists and physicians, nurses, administrative staff and operational support personnel, delivering services around the clock for both routine and emergency care.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a paediatric radiologist seeking a leadership role within a major tertiary facility undergoing significant paediatric service expansion.
